Terms of Use
These terms apply to the BackTrail browser extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge by LGD Ventures (“we”). By installing or using BackTrail you agree to them.
- What BackTrail does. BackTrail keeps the Back history of your browser tabs in your browser and shows it in the side panel. It is free and provided “as is”, without warranties. BackTrail Pro is an optional one-time purchase (up to 3 browsers per license), sold and refunded by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record under its terms. Browser updates can change how tabs are restored, which may temporarily affect it.
- Your data. Everything BackTrail stores stays in your browser; we never receive it. See the privacy policy. Keep your own bookmarks of pages that matter: closed tabs are deleted after 7 days (90 with Pro), and uninstalling deletes everything.
- Acceptable use. Don’t resell or redistribute the extension, or present it as your own.
- Trademarks. BackTrail is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google or Microsoft. Chrome and Edge are trademarks of their owners and are named only to describe compatibility.
- Liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost history, tabs or other indirect damages from using BackTrail.
- Changes. We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
